The cooperative Painted Lady ......

...... & the not so cooperative Red Admiral (extra)

Really chuffed that these two decided to put in an appearance today ....... first time I've seen them in the garden this year!

The Painted Lady was very helpful & posed beautifully for me ....... the Red Admiral however was playing 'hard to get' .... I wasted spent quite a while stalking it round the buddleia ...... every place it landed was difficult to get a proper angle with the camera ....... in order to get this one I got spiked by the Echinops! Hopefully it will be back & more cooperative another day :-)

Really chuffed you loved yesterday's Peacock butterfly so much ...... you have helped it flutter to Popular P2 .... thank you all so much :-))
