"Scientists Never stop asking.  They're little kids who never grew up."

Blipper friend Wendles56  has sent me so many wonderful postcards… this is one of a terrific set of cards with quotes from various scientists and artists using the Periodic Table.   It’s very clever… I think there are at least 18 and I’ve been fooling around with ideas for making a book out of them.,.,.  the colors of this one just suggested our water at low tide.  Sylvia Earle is an amazing pioneer in studying and protecting our oceans, the first female chief scientist (1970)  of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association ((NOAA)  founding Mission Blue that aims to establish marine protected areas around the world (“Hope spots”) . The Seattle Aquarium just this year awarded her their Lifetime Achievement Award so I’ve done a little extra reading…and listened to her TED talk.  Always something new to learn.

A pretty quiet day here....very warm.  some wind,.   walk with Maple and a bit of moving wood.  About to head for the beach (there’s a shady spot) with Maple and a G and T before dinner.    Of course we'll throw sticks and see how far she will go in..:-)
Extra. Notice she is ignoring my stick.
