Tidying up

After our Crab Apple tree went into 'self destruct mode' on Saturday morning (see my previous blip) we have had  a tidying up session and put much of the smaller twigs into the green bins.  This is one of the bigger branches which looks to be partly rotten and splitting.  It certainly didn't sound like green wood when I was sawing through it. 

The tree was to have been removed anyway so no great loss - though we will have to replace a fence post which has been broken.  

It is an ill wind which blows nobody any good, Gill is warming to my wish of buying a chainsaw :-)
