Busy day at Weybourne

This morning we met up with Blippers Bom and GracieG and Gracie's husband M, for a walk from Sheringham Park to Weybourne Station and back. A pleasant and varied walk, initially through woodland and then next to fields with panoramic views towards the sea. We stopped for a coffee and bite to eat at the station and watched this steam train, a BR 4MT 2-6-0 No 76084, taking a train from Holt to Sheringham. Altogether a good morning, with excellent company to boot.

In the afternoon we drove over to Holkham beach. The tide was out so it took a good half hour to walk from the car across the sands until we reached the sea! Just time for a paddle and then another half hour walk back again.

The plan was for a walk out to the pub this evening followed by fish and chips but I think we both just fancy staying put. There will be time for the fish and chips before we go home again.
