Trinity Church, then and now

Dear Diary,

DDW and I wander in Copley Square this morning and we visited the Boston Public Library to see the John Singer Sargent murals and then, across the plaza, the incredible Trinity Church. I had my great grandmother’s souvenir booklet of Boston from a trip she made in the early 1880’s. The transformation of the city behind in is obvious but we were able to see how the church itself has change over the last 130+ years.

We met Mr. W for lunch and then strolled back their building. What an absolutely beautiful day, weather-wise. A little more touring tomorrow and then back on the train in the late afternoon for the trip home.
