One of the eight 'ugly ducklings' or cygnets this morning on Coppice Pond.
A lovely morning for an early walk and there was almost a full compliment of young wildlife at the feeding station.
The six older ducklings were there, though no younger ones and also the juvenile Coots. No sign of the goslings spotted last week but the Tufted ducks with their broods were both present (despite the information boards saying they don't breed on the pond). They look healthy and the feisty mum's fight off the interfering Mallards keeping them safe.
Another lovely warm and sunny day.
