Bees' and Butterflies' Heaven

Our garden globe thistle (Echinops ritro) grows alongside a buddleia, so adding an extra wing to the bees' and butterflies' restaurant. Both were very busy today with the return of hot sunshine - but the freshly flowering thistle especially so.
