Birds Like Burdock Too

The flock of goldfinches was feeding on the stand of thistles in the corner of our field when Ollie dog and I went for a walk this morning. It's very difficult to get a clear view, I got some images but hope to better them. One of the juveniles flew up into a burdock which must be at least seven feet high. A thistle pappus can be seen in my pic.
