Big Skies

After a gentle saunter from Dijon to Lyon, I picked up Annie, Immy and Rosie after their flight over from London. Before setting off towards Nice and our holiday villa, we checked the traffic. It didn’t look good on the quickest motorway route so we opted to go more cross country. That took us on an increasingly winding but beautiful route over peaks and valleys. We did manage a photo stop somewhere on the route, not sure where! It also meant a very late arrival at our villa, about 10pm. The villa wasn’t the easiest to find but once in, it was great. Really spacious and plenty to do to keep us occupied.
