Bristol Harbour Festival

We chanced a trip into Bristol for the harbour festival. Parked on the Downs and walked all through Clifton and down Constitution Hill, which frankly left me pondering the walk back... but anyway, no parking charges eh.

It was of course heaving, but despite my aversion to crowds it was a good fun day and the weather was fantastic, again. We watched acrobats in Queens Square, steam dinghies and rescue dogs in the harbour, and clambered all over a number of venerable yachts, sloops and luggers.

This fellow couldn't work out if his ski bike was really a rocket. Leaps and spins and somersaults and barrel rolls, he had them all. Happily a few of them were right where we were sat.
