The Acme gang (ii)

I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments, when they aren't trying to teach us. We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.

From Llanishen to Franksbridge, where I unearth Dr Betts, unseen for over a decade. He has a wife and two children. And, in confirmation of small world theories, they have a house guest, Beth, from Edinburgh, who knows AnnaMaria.

We can’t stay long - there’s a wedding to get to near Knighton. Ceri and Ian are getting hitched in a church, with a supporting cast of bridesmaids and their three blond sons.

The vows made, there’s fizz and cakes on a nearby field. Which in turn segues into an evening of music and gin and firelight. A great evening, in a beautiful place, with wonderful people.
