If you can't beat them...

Following the plough.

Well not exactly, there is no plough but there seems to be a rotavator  among all that equipment.  In the late afternoon we set of looking for a blip for me.  Clickychick was going to show me a green manure crop with flowers.  First we spotted a farmer busy baling the straw from his cereal crop and very nearly stopped.  Then a couple of hundred yards down the road there was a cloud of gulls.

Two tractors were working the field.  I am now nearly 20 years out of touch with agriculture but I assume they were working the cereal stubble in.  Many years ago stubble was burned in the fields, creating pollution and when near roads accidents.

In the evening we made a snap decision to go away in the caravan for a couple of nights.  So having just got caught up after being in Edinburgh there is likely to be a 2 or 3 day gap in blipping.
