After work swim

It’s hot in Dublin and although it was a rainy start to the day, Her Worship graced us with her presence at about 3pm. So I came to the beach for a swim after work.

The carnival is in town, there are families everywhere and several aircraft flew over obviously viewing the landscape before Bray Airshow this coming weekend. It’s busy in direct contrast to my morning visits when I have the beach mostly to myself (and no problem finding parking).

It’s nice to swim after work - to just plunge into the water and leave the toils of the day behind.

I am boiling the spuds now and frying the chops as I am nicely hungry.
