Gently down the stream

Lift off - #TT165

I know what you're going to say, you're going to ask if this was taken with the new lens.  Well, no, the lens came after today's blipping via my very kind sis, so we sat in the garden and drank coffee while Jax and Hazel played a very quiet game of Jax picking up a piece of gravel and Hazel very gently taking away from him.

'This is my garden and you can't have my gravel.'  :-D

Anyway, here is a green-veined white butterfly just lifting off from a head of purple loosestrife (that flower again, we really are drowning in it right now).  And later this afternoon I did go back to the nature reserve to try out the newbie.  There was a bad moment when I thought all my pictures were going to have camera shake, but that was before I turned on the OIS, dhurr!  Now that's sorted, I love it.

Have just changed the shots round so the colour is in Extras.  I do prefer the mono, no getting away from it, though I usually post butterflies in colour.  Many thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting TT

Enjoy your evening  xx
