Fields of gold

A great night's sleep in an air conditioned room. I didn't wake properly till nearly 8. Two good meetings in an parked vehicle room with AC. Hot in London. Almost 30.

Then home on a train that didn't get delayed by fire beside the line. My poor colleague M had a nightmare journey to Wakefield.

Forgot to blip Alnmouth and Berwick looking lovely in the late afternoon sun but managed golden fields and the Berwick Law peeking out the top. '76 encore une fois'.

Home with enough time to eat my Arbroath Smokie quiche bought at the Scotland stall at King's Cross out in the garden.

Despite last night I'm tired. Must be the heat. And too tired to talk to #2 son about a bill. There will be grief.
