Asian Tiger

A day at the Europython conference at Edinburgh International Conference Center. The venue is capacious and impressive. I attend a few good talks, though others are mediocre. The growing importance of China is reconfirmed.

Afterward I meet up with Dave Beazley from Chicago and we chat in a pub before finding haggis for dinner in a small, cosy restaurant nearby. We’ve only interacted previously in Twitter, but we have a lot in common, and the conversation is good.
