Verulamium

A drive to St Albans this morning as W needed to be there for something first thing. Saturday is market day; I had a wander round and it is an excellent market although having said that, I didn't buy anything from it. After a coffee and a bit of light shopping (a rather excellent potato and rosemary sourdough loaf featured) we had a wander around the cathedral grounds and then headed home up a very busy M1.
