Cruise Ship Queuing

A misty and damp morning, but it cleared into a a warm and sunny day.  Breezy but sunny evening.

Another day working on the museum desk.  It was a really busy morning, there was two cruise ships in Lerwick.  A quieter afternoon, and even some local lasses jumping into the museum dock, brrrr!  A quiet evening about the house, and walkies with Sammy.  Off to work in the pub later.

With two cruise ships in, there's been 5,500 passengers and 2,000 crew, nearly equals the size of Lerwick!  The largest cruise ship ever to enter the harbour arrived today, with 4,500 passengers, the MSC Meraviglia.  She's the 5th largest cruise ship in the world too.  This herd of tourists were busy flocking back to the ship, two hours before they needed to, shame on them!  This must be one of the longest queues in Shetland's history, and this is only half we are seeing!  Taken from the LHD shop, Lerwick, where my cousin Roy works and let me hang out the window :)
