Dr Enigma

Dr Mark 'Enigma' Baldwin speaking at the Turing Festival about the work to crack Enigma carried out at Bletchley Park.  Fascinating.

I had a nice chat with him earlier in the day, and he let me get my hands on one of his WWII 3-rotor Enigma machines, in full working order, to press some buttons and see how the operator used it.

A bit of lunchtime light relief from the relentless content on marketing, technology and culture that we had the rest of the day - interesting and useful as much of it was!
