Birnbeck Pier

I've got an old film image taken walking along this pier at Weston-super-Mare, though sadly it is now closed and in quite a bad way.  I was going to post an abstract image taken on the Grand Pier but preferred this wide angle view of the old pier, complete with 'slinky siren'.

Daughter#2 and boyfriend return to France tomorrow, Ryanair permitting. It's going to be very quiet here after two busy weeks, but at least I should be able to catch up with blip.
