Sunny Ball

I was tidying my desk today. It's the sort of thing I do when I want to avoid doing something else. It might be age but I can't remember what I was avoiding to do.

It is a process which generally means gathering together the paper and other desk occupants, putting them in a pile and putting the pile somewhere else. Tomorrow I'll sort out the pile and avoid something else.

In the course of the tidying, I found a pair of lovely decorated balls. I can't remember who gave them to me but I used to rotate them in my hands as I was thinking through something particularly complex. I don't seem to have to do that anymore. Maybe that was what I was avoiding in the first place.
