Busy day

Up at the crack of dawn and into the city for Mass. Little Miss was a little tired, so after a quick mooch around Flinders St Station and Fed Square, we headed for home. She had a snooze in the car and felt much better when we got home.

Broinlaw turned up shortly afterwards, with little JB and WB. I cooked a healthy brunch and then whipped up a batch of notsohealthy choc chip cookies. All of which went down very well. WB had a particular penchant for Abe's crate and spent the best part of an hour happily playing in there. Abe was an absolute treasure for the few hours they were here. I was very proud of him!

Since the sun was still shining, we donned warm coats and took Abe for a walk up on Mt Macedon. He wants to do more than we'll allow him to, but it's important we don't let him over do it - joint problems are no fun for any dog or owner.

Home to cook up some chicken soup for dinner and to get ready for another full on week.

It's been a lovely day. Why do weekends always go so quickly?!!!
