Butterfly!

A Painted Lady we think, though we did wonder first if it was a small Tortoiseshell.

This shot was taken at Meg station on the way to visit my parents yesterday. There were many butterflies - these, Red Admirals and Peacocks.

My Mum and Dad were OK, and Bubbles is still hanging in there. My Dad has given her CPR a few times. I'm not sure he's really doing her any favours, but I get it!

Once Brian collected me, it was straight home to get ready to go out for drinks to celebrate one of his workmates' birthday. We didn't expect to be out long, but we ended up staying out after the party broke up. It was a very good night, but I cannot remember the last time I drank so much! I'm feeling the effect a bit now!
