When Fergus was Swimming at Carskey Bay

18.0C bright with thin cloud cover. Light Southerly breeze becoming moderate SSE through the afternoon.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. The sea was calm. At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back.

Fergus had a good run along the beach and as usual disappeared and ran along the path that runs just behind the beach in the dunes. When he reappeared he sprinted straight into the sea, then came back out. I tossed pebbles into the water and he went back in and swam after the splashes so I kept lobbing pebbles a few yards ahead of him. That kept him swimming for a few minutes. When he came out of the water he went back on his lead for the walk back to the car.

Later Apothecary7 was in the garden spray painting her Lloyd Loom chair.
BBC Radio 2 was the soundtrack to the afternoon.
