Outside Heriot’s

Look - it’s Mamoun Elagab! Well, he was one of the successful semi-finalists in the BBC New Comedy Awards we’d just been to see. And the best of them, I’d say, so I was glad he got through to the final. Smart bloke.
We’d met up with R&E for a pint beforehand and stayed on awhile before strolling Summerhallwards to see Adam Holmes perform before a pretty small hometown crowd. I’m not sure that the audience of old folks is really what he would wish to attract, but that’s the price you pay for getting on the Radio 2 playlist.
