Gently down the stream

Gowns and glitter

Today I sat by the stream to watch the damselflies and the minnows.  The purple loosestrife down there has grown up though a sapling and using its support must now be over two and a half metres high.  I liked this blip of a male banded demoiselle because he's flashing his double set of wings and looks like he's wearing a spangled ballgown.  His female (in Extras) has a different but just as beautiful outfit, in green and tinselly gold.

Thank you to Cailleach for so loyally continuing to host WildWednesday - what a blipstar.

And a very big thank you for all the comments hearts and stars on yesterday's doe.  I do want to say to you individually, but also here, how much I appreciate it - and your friendship  xx
