Modern devices

Having recently visited Bletchley Park and looked at Alan Turing's "Bombe" electromechanical computer and Tommy Flowers' "Colossus" electronic computer, it is astonishing to realise how computing and electronics are now a part of so many everyday devices - even my electric toothbrush contains  electronics to carry out simple timing and control functions.

This board is from a hard disk drive - removed from a very old desktop computer before it is consigned to recycling.
