Balancing Act

Today’s compositional challenge has been ..... Balance. I think the idea is that there should not be a focus on one thing, the overall image should be - well, balanced.

This is the Bridgewater Canal at Worsley. The canal is fed from the extensive (and now impossible to enter) underground canal system, and gets its orange colour from the iron oxides from the coal measures. It’s a form of pollution, although some local people are very attached to what they see as their special orange canal.
