In a small way - #TT168

Summer came back in a small way today.  After a grey start it turned sunny and quite warm - and how lovely, I have been missing it!

I decided on a butterfly hunt to celebrate.  There have been none around at all over the last couple of days, but I found this rather ragged specimen in the nature reserve.  It is - I think - a male silver-washed fritillary.  Beautiful, huh?

Apart from that, it has also been a lovely social day and the evening will be peaceful.  I think I'm very lucky.
