Another Light Show

Along a few doors for a sit out with Denis and our treasurer elect. What amazingly well behaved kids - the older one, a girl, appears and waits for conversation to pause, and then, invited to speak, she asks if she can have an apple! 
Still reeling, I leg it to Leith Theatre with the SK where Karine Polwart is doing her “Scottish Songbook”. Basically, she’s a covers band for one night only. Not the high art we usually expect from the official festival, maybes. But it was bloody excellent. Only downside was that Insto was there, but luckily I didn’t have to stand behind him. Unlike most of the audience.
