Movement

We are down here for a 90th birthday celebration tomorrow.

We met up with C and T this morning, and this evening went to a BBQ hosted by Y and N.

Between times, Hampshire Open Studios week began today. We visited a few in and around Milford. It is amazing to see the creative activity going on everywhere.

Two photos depicting movement. The main blip is a wooden apple being crafted out of a block of poplar wood on a lathe.

The second in the extra is a barrel organ, based on a 1725 design, being played by the maker, who is a retired carpenter and joiner. Everything at this place was recycled. The organ is constructed from bits of old school desk, cedar conservatory, oak floorboards, and much more. Not as silly as it sounds - in fact, it sounds very good.

We bought a few things this afternoon. Obviously.
