Blustery contemplation

The bog cotton didn't materialise this year, or barely.  Instead, Little Dog has enjoyed taking in the air from the dried grasses that have replaced it.

Last year, it was going strong from May to July.  It's been a different place on the moors this year.

We had a family outing to Salami and an enjoyable chat with an outdoorsy couple and their 'she doesn't look like a labradoodle but she is; we had a DNA test' dog before Rich dropped me off for a walk in a westerly with the wind on our tails.  The heather blooms may have suffered too but the scent of heather was most definitely on the breeze.

I think Little Dog had other things on her mind nose though!
