Wasps

Wasps. Like a lot of people, I have a problem with them this year. I have a small lemon tree in my greenhouse and they love it; indeed, the greenhouse has become a bit of a no-go area because there are so many of them. I say 'like a lot of people' because those people had clearly swarmed over my two local garden centres and bought up all the wasp traps. But the local hardware store in the next village came good; for a mere £4.90 I could have three of these. An excellent idea; you just put some sugary liquid into a clear bottle, put one of these in the top, give it a shake and Hey Presto! No more wasps.

It seems no-one has yet told the wasps how this works.
