Bird, Bunting, Blooms and a Boat

It seemed as though BB was up before the crack of dawn.  He was going to play golf with our friends, who were leaving at 7.20am.  BB was out of bed before 6am!  As the three of us were in the same room, we all had an early start.  Once BB had departed, TT went for a run and I then went for one too. I went on the same route as yesterday.

The golfers were back a little later than usual, as they had an extra person to cope with.  They had played nine holes, and BB had had a great time.  They all said he did well, and had lots of energy to run after his misplaced shots!

TT got stuck into the jigsaw again and they finished it late morning.  We then departed and headed towards the south of the island, with no clear plan.  We ended up in Whiting Bay, where we had a lovely lunch.  We sat outdoors, but kind of regretted that as we were being blasted by the wind.  We then walked up to Glenashadale Falls before heading back to Brodick as TT was on cooking duties and he had to purchase some ingredients.

We got home and TT got on with his cooking, with the help of his sous chefs and rustled up a number of fabulous curries for us.  We thought there would be far too much food, but the nine of us almost polished the lot off.  After all that food, we had a quiet evening.

This colourful display was in Whiting Bay.
