Great Spangled Fritillary

I don't think I've blipped a great spangled fritillary yet this Summer. Haven't seen as many as usual - pretty much the same as all the butterflies this year. But here was this guy/gal this afternoon down by the mailbox, and I figured it was his/her turn. Looking a little ragged, but I was impressed by the rather muscular and fuzzy looking thighs! Haha! Thighs! As if.

I also saw/photographed several tiger swallowtails and two (TWO!) Monarchs in my vegetable garden area this afternoon! Plus a handful of Monarch cats of various sizes on my milkweed. Good news, that.
