Thank goodness for tui

Taken when I was hanging out the washing this morning. The tuis have been very busy. Yesterday we counted 8 flitting around in the trees above the feeder. The most we have ever had at one time. A lot of blossom around in the street  may account for the high numbers.
A very similar extra just because I couldn't decide. I haven't cropped at all. That is how I took it with the sx60.
We went to the movies this afternoon. A local production filmed on an iphone by a local police woman/man (not sure). Other local police in it but 4 professional actors took the roles of the baddies v the goodies. All filmed at night at a local petrol station the story line modern and mostly believable, with a good twist at the end.
Blue Moon Project it was called and we enjoyed seeing the town, albeit at night, and local businesses mentioned in the script as they had helped supply meals and coffee etc. It wasn't comedy but we had to laugh at some things.
Typical State Cinema Motueka, Mark the owner came out and announced there were 28 high school kids coming from the media studies and we would be a bit late starting and maybe we would all like to bunch up a bit so we were in our age groups.
The "older" person behind me was the most annoying scrambling in her chip packet in the quiet moments. Still, I had forgotten to glare at her by the time we came out. :-)) I had enjoyed the film so much.
