Comma Butterfly

I found this little country park, Bassets Mead,  squeezed between the A30, the River Whitewater and the main London railway line at Hook in Hampshire.  Unlike yesterday's location, this offered free parking, so no time constraints and I could take my leisure walking the circular path through a range of meadow, rive and woodland habitats.

This rather battered comma butterfly was spotted as I walked through one of the meadows.  I can't identify the tall wildflower - the nearest google could find was a field scabious, but I'm pretty sure it's not that. Perhaps someone on the Wild Flower Week challenge can enlighten me!
