He was happy to be snapped. Shame about the wire across his face but I didn"t feel I could tell him to lean back a bit more. I told him to be careful and he thanked me for my helpful advice.

In the evening it was off to see Spamilton at the Menier. It's a spoof of Hamilton. I haven't seen the real thing but watched a few snatches on Youtube to bring myself up to speed. It was a hoot - a gentle mickey take of various musicals and artists including hilarious cameos of Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Liza Minelli among others. The audience loved it and it was evident that a lot of them had seen Hamilton.

And all the tube connections worked on the way back which is always a bonus.
