Bank Holiday Motorway Misery

Crossing over the M6 motorway just north of junction 12 this afternoon.  I could only sympathise with the passengers of vehicles heading north.  I'd heard on the traffic news of a breakdown between J13 and J14; possibly the cause of these tailbacks.  One can only imagine how long it was going to take these vehicles to reach the outskirts of Manchester, let alone those travelling further north.

Rather them than me!
