Backblip

A celebration for my husbands brother and sister was held at his brother’s house in Edgware. They have a reasonably sized garden and about 40 friends and family turned up for the BBQ and cocktails party. They had a small marquee type structure at the top of the garden and a bar with pull your own pint of beer or cider at the other end.
His sister is married to a very musical family. Her husband has just retired from the Blues and Royals as a Euphonium player and has played at many royal occasions and he comes from an family of brass players. His brother’s wife’s family has a young trumpeter who plays in a professional orchestra, so as Michael, the older one normally carries his trumpets everywhere and is not shy, we were treated to them playing a few tunes in the dark, including Daydreamer Believer and a few others that I have forgotten already!
We didn’t get back until around 1am hence the back blip. Not a good shot but it’s all I had apart from an appropriately named cocktail menu that’s not so exciting - but had things like Cosmopoli-twin, Moscow Dual, Singapore s(ib)ling and Moji2
