Smokey

Long-time fans will recognize this as a baby squirrel. My son's an arborist and has rescued a couple dozen of them over the past few years. Some he has raised to adulthood and released, others he's taken to Animal Rescue when they outgrow their shoebox. Admittedly my son's hands are pretty big, but the extra gives an idea of how tiny Smokey is. No photo can convey how soft this little creature is.
