"Mine! All Mine!"

Lovely that the birds are starting to appear after the period spent hiding away while they were moulting. I've spotted skulking blackbirds and chiff chaffs recently and the robins are starting to sing to proclaim their territories. They're one of the few birds that hold territories all-year-round and the purpose of their red breasts is purely for territory defence.
