Autumn Sneezeweed....

....isn't that just the best name for a plant? Easy to remember! It's a beautiful perennial,  native to North America and is in the sunflower family. One plant can produce as many as 100 flower heads, & it generally grows to be about 3-3 1/2 feet tall. They planted several of these when they re-landscaped the Yacht Club last spring, and they've done really well alongside the Lake. No sun today, and the temperature has cooled off a bit, so I was surprised to see so many bees out. I've managed to catch another cold--I think it's the 4th one this year--so am not feeling the best. So annoying, esp. when we're all being so careful because of Tom!  Hoping to get some rest so I get rid of it quickly.
Thanks Miranda1008 for hosting WFW. :)
