Dog Days Of Summer

Its the last day of summer apparently. If you are a meteorologist I read that  autumn begins tomorrow on the 1st of September. Aaaaaagh.

And here is a shrine to a dog. It has been here for years and keeps being updated with new stuff. Sometimes flowers, sometimes messages and other times , photos. Not sure why it is on this tree by the lake. Perhaps Bonzo used to come here with its owner to watch the ducks.

I managed to get a shot with my  cycling camera for my end of summer Blip, You have to admire the little camera. I stuff it in my back pocket and off we go. It survives with the occasional need to pull out the lens manually or realign it so it can close again.
