Evening light, Brodick

An unexpected extra day on the Island of Arran. The ferries were disrupted and a text during dinner last night alerted some of us that we would need to rebook. This involved a trip to the CalMac booking office at the ferry terminal and the upshot is that instead of sailing at 3:15 this afternoon we're still in Brodick awaiting the 7:20 boat. Home about 10 pm. At the other end of the day my sister and brother-in-law had to get a much earlier sailing and were away very sharp this morning. Island life indeed.

However we've made the most of the day by going north to Lochranza and having some time in Brodick itself. And it has been a lovely warm, sunny afternoon for fun on the beach.

The Red Arrows (I think) did a fly-past so I've included them in the distance as an extra.
