An ordinary life....

Past it Petunia...

This little petunia (i think it's a petunia) was lying on the ground this morning looking past its best and a little worse for wear.  The wind had blown it from its hanging basket.   It seemed a clear sign that summer has faded and autumn is upon us.

It's been a dull, grey day.  David and Lola went to a Scent Detection Workshop from 10am - 2.00pm.  Apparently it was great fun.  Five other dogs there and a good time had by all.  Lola did very well by all accounts.  I am wondering if D is visualising them as Perthshire's answer to Turner and Hooch.

I tackled the ironing again.  This is becoming a habit.  Depressingly I looked out some warmer tops.  Another nod to the end of summer.

Tesco delivery arrived.  The large bottle of fabric softener had leaked over a load of the shopping, thankfully nothing edible.  The delivery lady refunded all the goods that were affected and we got to keep them.  We were able to wash the fabric softener off the affected items so result for us.  Certainly the sweetest selling shopping we've ever had delivered :-))
