That’s the end of the blips from the glorious islands of Mull and Iona. Back in Edinburgh today for a family get together for a couple of adjacent birthdays.

A good, if challenging, run this morning and a brisk walk this evening bookended the do which was great fun with 5 children ranging from 5 years to 3 months. Cascades of presents made the party look like Christmas.

The long drive south tomorrow.

Today’s blip is of the countryside at the end of the road where Barbara and David live. The light from the setting sun illuminated the scene so well.
