An ordinary life....

Fiona's fascinating phone...

David picked Fiona up at Dunblane station this morning and she joined us for brunch.  She's off to London tomorrow then she will return home to Dundee but she's got sculptures and other commissions to finish before she heads back to New Zealand on 26th September, so I think this is the last chance we will get to see her before she heads back down under.

She's been back in Scotland for seven months and although we didn't manage to see as much of each other as we would have liked, we did manage a few get togethers, and it was lovely knowing she was close by.  She's hoping to get back next July for a week or two so hopefully I will see her then.

She has timed her extended visit here to perfection as she's enjoyed our wonderful summer and now she's heading back down under just as Spring and summer are unfolding there.  Jammy!

Thankfully Fiona is a dog person as Lola was her usual friendly-no-idea-of-personal-space self!  She brought Fiona lots of gifts, including her blankie and at one point, the lens cap off my camera!  It took at doggy biscuit to get that back!

All too soon it was time to take Fiona to Perth to catch her train and say goodbye.  Wobbly lip time.

Stoppled at M&S on the way back to pick up bits and pieces for lunch and dinner tomorrow.  David's playing golf what Adrian and Kenny and they're having dinner after so Agnes and Ele coming here. Looking forward to catching up with them.
