A Tiny Hint of Autumn

We took a wet walk around Westonbirt Arboretum this morning, and it was clear that summer has been supplanted (sup-planted, heh) by autumn. The colours, though muted as yet, are full of promise, as shown by this Acer. Gently changing from green to bronze, its seeds are bright yellow and red harbingers of the kaleidoscope to come.

Thanks for your appreciation of yesterday's tickle-fest. I seldom get three hearts (oh cry! mortals, for his sadness) and I'm glad you liked the picture. I have yet to process all the others, but some of the gorilla shots are now on Flickr.
