Surprise, surprise!

My cousin Lorna sings with the Huddersfield Choral Society.

It was fantastic to get a text from her today to say she is singing at the Royal Albert Hall this evening. Even better to hear she had time for coffee before her performance.

She is singing Britten's War Requiem, accompanied by The Royal Scottish national Orchestra. That's BBC Prom 72 conducted by Peter Oundjan.

I will be listening tonight on Radio 3.
